cableless elevator.
This elevator is an experience on its own. It not only goes up en down but also makes a quarter turn. A seperate crenellated tower was constructed in matching Gothic Revival style to build in the elevator so that the paintings on the ceiling and the wainscots could remain intact and no regrettable out-of-style additions would clash with the interior.

Geulzicht Castle has nine guestrooms. They are all differently decorated and breathe their very own character. All the rooms have colour television, radio, minibar, private safe, trouser press, hair drier, telephone with a direct outside line, and toilet. The other sanitary facilities differ from room to room. Some rooms have a bath, four rooms a sunken Roman bath and one room a whirpool/hydrosauna. Two rooms have a private terrace. Because of the variety in facilities the rooms are classified in five categories.
